The Bringer of Kindness (Reductive Drawing)

The Bringer of Kindness is a 9 x 14 inch reductive drawing, and thus a one-of-a-kind. This image is based on the Kindnessbringer, a relief print originally made back in 2021, whose information can be found in the Fine Art section of the website.

This drawing is born out of a desire to revisit the original image. In exploring the intricacies of the old image- its body, symbols, setting and textures, I strove to give the original a new breath of life by allowing it to move beyond the frozen stillness of the one-time look of the original. Now, the Bringer of Kindness was seen a second time, hopefully revitalizing the emotion that is named after in the eyes of the viewer.
