Couragemonger

Courage in the face of adversity. Those are true words to live by. Most adults worth something know that life is not easy. We have to bear a lot on our shoulders. With the over-saturation of tragedy and hardships is no wonder that we sometimes feel discouraged and weak. We are fragile enough to crumble when things get just a little too rough. However, it’s also true that living in fear is no way of living at all. We become easily manipulated, weak, and dependent. We can’t construct anything out of fear of having to defend it. We don’t set boundaries, and as time goes on, everything around us gets worse, and it’s our fault. Courage to face adversity is something we all need to develop quickly, even at a very early childhood stage. Defending our homes, ideas, philosophies, identities… all that it’s worth protecting, requires courage. The need to procreate requires courage. The need to build a better tomorrow out of literal dust requires tremendous courage. Without the desire to hold our ground there can be no moving forward.
